Why do I need to give my date of birth when registering?

There are three reasons. Firstly, we would like to make sure we follow best practice in data protection and do not send marketing material to anyone under 16 years of age. Secondly, to measure that we are attracting a representative audience in terms of age, in line with our public subsidy. Finally, to help us find your record in the event of a forgotten login or changed email address.
