If you have tickets for a performance that is cancelled or postponed, we will contact you to offer you a refund or exchange.
If you cannot come to the theatre due to Covid-19, you can exchange your ticket or tickets for a gift certificate up to 24 hours before a performance.
We stand by our 'Book with Confidence, Exchange with Ease' pledge, as we know how important it is in current times. Dates for performances may continue to shift in line with latest government guidance.
We notify ticket holders by email if we know of a major cancellation at least two days before the performance. As much notice is given as possible. Details of all major cancellations will also be shared via our front of house screens prior to the performance. Cast changes will also be highlighted on the relevant date page for the production in question.
If a production does not take place at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden site please visit the host venue’s website for their terms and conditions of sale and returns policy.
Seats with restricted views due to cinema relay equipment and/or listening-only seats may be available for performances on the Main Stage. Please contact the Box Office to make enquires about this.
Our staff are committed to treating everyone with dignity and respect, and we ask that you show them and your fellow audience members respect too. We adopt a zero tolerance approach to anyone who interacts with our staff or fellow patrons in an intimidating, aggressive or threatening manner.
