Friday Rush
Get last-minute tickets for the Royal Opera House at a range of prices – even for sold-out shows.
When to book
Friday Rush tickets are released every Friday at 1pm.
Sometimes tickets will be released on a different day because of national holidays. Changes to ticket release dates will be flagged on this page with a week's notice.
Where to book
Public bookers can only book Friday Rush tickets online. Members (Friends and Patrons) can book online or by telephone. There are a limited number of tickets available; booking online will ensure you get the best choice of tickets.
The performances with Friday Rush tickets will appear at the bottom of the Friday Rush page. Tickets are displayed in the same way as other tickets in our online booking system.
Ticket limits
You can buy up to two Friday Rush tickets for each performance.
E-tickets
Friday Rush tickets are sent via email as e-tickets.
Exchange Friday Rush tickets
You can exchange Friday Rush tickets for a gift certificate.
Dates and performances
There are Friday Rush tickets for most Main Stage shows performed by The Royal Opera and The Royal Ballet.
Some dates and productions are not included in the Friday Rush offer, for example, galas, Young ROH performances and Schools’ Matinees.
Seat locations
Tickets are available for:
- Stalls Circle (sides, seated)
- Amphitheatre (rear, seated)
- Balcony (sides, standing)
Wheelchair spaces
There is at least one wheelchair space and one companion seat for every Friday Rush performance.
These tickets can be purchased online, over the phone or in person. You can purchase the wheelchair space and companion seat online if you are registered as a wheelchair user through the ROH Access Scheme.
