Everyone who supports the Royal Opera House plays a vital role in enabling the organisation to continue to achieve the highest standards in all its work.
We are grateful to everyone who decides to make an extra gift to the Royal Opera House, whether spontaneously, as a top up donation on their membership or tickets, in response to taking part in an education event or after watching a cinema screening. As an organisation, we hope our art moves you; thank you for supporting.
Help give children in London and Essex the chance to dance. Please give a gift today to support the Royal Opera House’s Chance to Dance programme, reaching 1,800 primary school children each year in Lambeth, Southwark and Thurrock. Chance to Dance creates access to ballet for those who might not otherwise have the opportunity to experience the art form, through demonstrations, workshops and weekly classes for the children who show the most enthusiasm and potential.
Before the curtain goes up on the new Season, there’s a huge amount of work to be done behind the scenes. From Chorus members’ shoes being polished and repaired in the Opera Shoe Room to training for teachers to help them inspire a generation of students with a passion for the arts, the Royal Opera House is a hive of activity. Help support our work for the exciting Season ahead by making a contribution today.
The Royal Ballet spends more than £250,000 on shoes – the most vital tools of the dancers' profession – each Season. Any and every donation you are able to make to our annual Pointe Shoes Appeal will be gratefully received and put to good use!
Seats are named in memory of opera and ballet lovers, in honour of artists or to commemorate members of the Royal Opera House's staff. Some have been donated by a single family member, while others have come through groups of friends clubbing together or 'in memoriam' collections at funerals. Perhaps you might choose to remember someone special or celebrate an important occasion in this way.
Donations to our Wagner Appeal help with the cost of staging Wagner productions: the scenery, costumes and of course, the music.
If you have any questions about any of our appeals, or how your support gets used, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone +44 (0)20 7212 9510.
