Valentina Puskás

Transylvanian Soprano Valentina Puskás joins the Jette Parker Artists Programme in the 2023/24 Season.

Puskás has worked as a soloist with Bucharest National Opera, Transylvania Philharmonic, Oradea State Philharmonic, ‘Ion D. Sirbu’ Theatre Petrosani, Deva’s Theatre of Arts and ‘Queen Mary’ State Theatre Oradea. She is a graduate of the National University of Music Bucharest. 

In 2021, Puskás was awarded the Grand Prize at the Elite Musicians International Competition, Iași, Romania, and won 2nd prize at the Musicum Laude International Singing Competition and Masterclass.  

Roles for The Royal Opera 2023/24 Season include Fifth Maid (Elektra), and Eleanora/First Attendant (Larme de Couteau/ Full Moon in March) for the Jette Parker Artists Programme Chamber Opera.
