Shizuka Hariu

Shizuka Hariu is a scenographer who merges design and architecture in her work. Notable works include Super Angels in Tokyo, Written on Skin at Suntory Hall and Sacred Monsters at Sadler’s Wells. She earned bronze medals at World Stage Design 2022 and 2017, Japan Space Design Award, D&AD Award, among others. Shizuka represented the UK team at Prague Quadriennale and shares her expertise as a guest lecturer and contributor at esteemed institutions and cultural institutions like the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Japanese Embassy, and David Chipperfield Architects.
