Biography

German conductor Kevin John Edusei made his debut with the Royal Opera House in 2022, with La bohème. He has worked in many opera houses across Europe and is the former Chief Conductor of Bern Opera House, where he has conducted new productions of Peter Grimes, Tannhäuser, Tristan und Isolde and a cycle of the Mozart-Da Ponte operas, among others. Upcoming and recent engagements include debuts with the New York Philharmonic, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Finnish Radio Symphony, Munich Philharmonic, Sydney Symphony, London Philharmonic and London Symphony orchestras. He is the Principal Guest Conductor of the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra in Texas, former Chief Conductor of the Munich Symphony Orchestra, and has appeared with the Chineke! Orchestra at the BBC Proms and the Helsinki and Lucerne festivals.
