Biography

Born in the Republic of Korea, he studied at the Korea National University of the Arts, at the Vienna Conservatory and at CNIPAL, Marseille. He sings internationally, with recent and future highlights including Il Re (Aida) for The Royal Opera; a role debut as Palémon (Thaïs) for La Scala, Milan; Lodovico (Otello) and Pope Leone (Attila) for Teatro Real, Madrid; Timur (Turandot) in Tokyo; Ramfis (Aida) in Tel Aviv, Seville and at the St. Margarethen Festival, Austria; Bonzo (Madama Butterfly) in Bari; Sarastro (The Magic Flute) in Torino and Montpellier; Vodník (Rusalka) in Metz; Des Grieux (Manon) for Ópera de Tenerife; King Heinrich (Lohengrin) for Ópera de Oviedo and Mozart’s Requiem in Granada and Malmö.
