British actress and choreographer Anna-Marie Sullivan has appeared with The Royal Opera as an actress in many productions, including Gloriana, Manon Lescaut, L’Étoile, Salome, Andrea Chénier, Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg and Lessons in Love and Violence. She revived the choreography for Kasper Holten’s Don Giovanni in the 2017/18 Season. In the 2019/20 Season she returns as revival choreographer for Don Giovanni.
Sullivan’s opera acting credits away from The Royal Opera include Behind the Curtain, Don Pasquale and The Rape of Lucretia (Glyndebourne) and The Fairy Queen (Theater an der Wien). She has also appeared as an actress in films including Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation and Coffee Beans. Television credits include Crumbs (Jewson Films), Cricklewood Greats (BBC4) and a documentary for the South Bank Show on David McVicar (ITV) among others. Theatre credits include Caroline in A Victorian Christmas (Stop Watch Theatre Company), Insane About Broadway (Charing Cross Theatre) and This is Not a Performance (Jermyn Street Theatre).
Sullivan has been revival choreographer for Kasper Holten’s production of Don Giovanni for Houston Grand Opera, Israeli Opera and at the Liceu, Barcelona.
