Tenor Adam Smith’s 2023/24 Season highlights include a role debut as Turiddu (Cavalleria rusticana) for Lyric Opera of Kansas City and house debuts at Washington National Opera as Roméo (Roméo et Juliette), Les Arts Valencia as The Prince (Rusalka), San Diego Opera and Aix-en-Provence Festival as Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly) and Staatsoper Hamburg as Cavaradossi (Tosca). Recent highlights include house debuts at the Glyndebourne Festival, Greek National Opera, La Monnaie, Brussels, Teatro Comunale di Bologna and Opéra National de Bordeaux, and appearances at English National Opera, the BBC Proms and Scottish National Opera. Recent standout roles include Rodolfo (La bohème), Hoffmann (Les Contes d’Hoffman) and Luigi and Rinuccio (Il Trittico). This is his Royal Opera debut.
