My friends from japan would like to see a ballet or an opera on either 2 nd or 3 rd of September this year. Could you suggest if it is possible or any alternatives for it please.
    Thank you very much

Sorry but we do not have any performances on 2 or 3 September. There doesn't seem to be anything performed by ENB or at Sadler's Wells either.

      Best wishes

Hi, are there any performances at the Opera House on 24th or 25th of August?
    Best wishes,

    • Ellen West (Head of Creative Studios and Digital Products) responded on 8 August 2014 at 5:22pm

      Dear Michelle

We are actually closed on those days for our end of Season maintenance.

      Best wishes

Hello, my mother is 70 on August 6th, can you please let me know what performances you have on the following weekend (9th). Her dream has always been to go to the Royal Opera, thank you, Alison

    • Ellen West (Head of Creative Studios and Digital Products) responded on 30 December 2014 at 12:48pm

      Dear Alison

I am afraid that your mother's birthday falls during the period over the summer when The Royal Opera isn't performing. You could always give her a ticket for something when the Season opens - the programme will be announced around Easter.

      Best wishes

    • Chris Shipman (Head of Brand Engagement and Social Media) responded on 11 February 2015 at 3:55pm

      Hi Carol,

Yes, the production will be sung in Italian with English surtitles on the screen above the stage.

What's on in August I can't find anything on the RCG website that gives clear production timing. If you are closed with no productions on what are the dates of closure

    • Chris Shipman (Head of Brand Engagement and Social Media) responded on 23 March 2015 at 12:35pm

      Hi Charles,

The theatre will be closed for summer break from 12 August until early September (we haven't yet announced our 2015/16 Season, which commences in September).

At present, the only productions taking place in August are Cubanía and Ben Folds with yMusic. The Royal Ballet's final performance of 2014/15 is on 4 June, and The Royal Opera's is on 18 July.

You can see all upcoming performances at
