Cast change: Akane Takada to dance in Giselle on 1 April 2016

Akane Takada to replace Laura Morera in the title role.

Due to injury, Laura Morera will be replaced by Akane Takada for the performance of Giselle on 1 April 2016.

The rest of the cast remains the same.

    It is good to see that people are given this kind of opportunity, since it appears that this part is new to her, although tempered with the hope that injuries are not serious. I would like to see the performance but look forward to reading her reviews.
    I would love to see Fumi Kaneko given a similar opportunity for a leading role, following her breath taking performance in the Two Pigeons.

    I saw Akana Takada dance the role of Giselle last night and thought she was magical. She was fragile and expressive with wonderfull technique and great chemistry with Nehamiah Kish.
    A beautiful, emotional performance.

  3. Takada was ethereal and epitomised Giselle superbly. Simply a wonderful performance.
