Royal Opera House Restaurants is a partnership between the  Royal Opera House and Company of Cooks to provide all catering and hospitality at the Royal Opera House.

Royal Opera House Restaurants includes the Paul Hamlyn Hall Balconies Restaurant and Champagne Bar, the Amphitheatre Restaurant and Bar, the Crush Room, Conservatory and Private Dining Rooms, Staff and Artists’ catering and catering for special events.

Amphitheatre Restaurant

Serving superior modern cuisine in an atmosphere of casual elegance, the Amphitheatre Restaurant offers a wide variety of freshly made dishes. Combined with our exceptional wine list of old and new world; you can make the most of this fabulous blend.

For people who are planning a night of ballet or opera, the Amphitheatre Restaurant is open to ticket holders for pre and interval dining. The menu is a la carte so you may relax before the performance with starter and main course and return to your table in the interval for a delicious dessert.

Amphitheatre Bar

Amphitheatre Bar

Located at the top of the escalator, with views into the Paul Hamlyn Hall and a covered loggia overlooking Covent Garden Piazza. This bar is most easily accessible from the Amphitheatre, Slips and Balcony seats and boxes.

To save time payment is taken in advance of your arrival. Bar orders can be placed up until midday on the day of the performance, depending on availability.

Balconies Restaurant

The ultimate complement to the best in ballet and opera: tables for dinner just a few paces from the auditorium on the spectacular balconies in the restored hall, formerly a flower market. A special fine dining gallery, spectacular wines and personal hospitality in harmony with spectacular performances.

Paul Hamlyn Hall Champagne Bar

The Champagne Bar, new in Autumn 2011, is a complementary addition to this magnificient space. Bustling style, perfect wines, aperitifs and classic savouries served with warmth, welcome and spirit make this the perfect place to visit in the interval. In conjunction with Ruinart.

Pre-orders are laid out under the North Balcony (Auditorium side). This bar is most easily accessible from the Stalls and Stalls Circle seats and Grand Tier seats and boxes.

Amphi Al Fresco Restaurant

Amphi Al Fresco Restaurant

The terrace of the Amphitheatre Restaurant offers a perfect al fresco dining setting in the heart of Covent Garden. It boasts a peaceful ambience with a view of the busy yet, entertaining Covent Garden piazza below.

Perfect for pre-performance and interval dining for those opera and ballet filled summer evenings. Operating as an airy summery extension to the restaurant, the heated terrace will be serving the same full á la carte menu to complete your evening.

Al fresco dining is open from 19 May until the end of the season.

Crush Room

Crush Room

Located within the original part of the Royal Opera House, this sumptuous space offer patrons a wide choice of cold food from stylish open sandwiches to freshly prepared lobster and other mouth-watering dishes.

The Crush Room is located on Grand Tier level. Our butlers will be on hand to serve you whilst you dine. It is essential to book your table and food in advance (tables may be extended to the Conservatory on busy nights).

Dining reservations may be added to your shopping basket up to 7 days before main house performances.

You can also add dinner reservations to any main house performances you may have booked through your My Royal Opera House page.
