The Maestro’s Circle is a unique philanthropic initiative for music lovers who would like to deepen their knowledge about the work of the conductor and, in particular, about the role of the world-renowned Royal Opera Music Director, Maestro Antonio Pappano.
Now entering his 18th Season as Music Director, Maestro Pappano is one the world’s pre-eminent conductors. This season supporters will be invited to a series of events in his company, including exclusive access to a studio rehearsal, sitzprobe, an evening around a performance and an intimate coaching session with Jette Parker Young Artists. We will round off 2019-20 with a celebratory End of Season dinner to wish Maestro Pappano well before he takes his sabbatical year from the Royal Opera House.

Tuesday 26 November 2019, 2.30pm
A private studio rehearsal with the Royal Opera Chorus. Watch artists rehearse with Maestro Pappano in the intimate setting of an opera studio before this Verdi classic moves to the stage.
Monday 2 December 2019, 7.00pm
Coaching Session with Jette Parker Young Artists
Hosted by philanthropists in a private home. Watch the Maestro work with several of our young artists, using his creative genius to unlock their full potential.
Tuesday 18 February 2020, 2.30pm
Exclusive access to a Sitzprobe rehearsal. The orchestra and principal artists come together for the first time under the baton of Maestro Pappano in this private rehearsal.
Tuesday 19 May 2020, 2.30pm
Another opportunity for music lovers to gain access to a Sitzprobe. Be there for the incredibly special first meeting between the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House and a stellar-cast of principal artists.
Tuesday 2 June 2020, 7.15pm
An evening around a Performance* of Strauss’ masterpiece followed by an after party with the cast hosted by Maestro Pappano.
