First Stage – Work Experience at the Royal Opera House
Welcome to First Stage, the work experience programme of the Royal Opera House.
The Royal Opera House is passionate about inspiring people to choose careers in the arts sector, particularly in the back stage areas that they may not previously have considered.
Through First Stage, the ROH is providing people who are either in education or in the early stage of their career with opportunities to gain practical experience and insight into our working environments. While these opportunities are unpaid, we hope those gaining experience with us will then build on this through further education and training and ultimately gain paid employment in the sector.
The ROH is committed to ensuring that our First Stage opportunities are accessible to people from diverse backgrounds.
