These two performances allow you, the audience, to curate the concert that you want to see.
Tuesday 5 October: Jukebox 1
A battle of the arias where you - the audience - choose the programme.
In the first instalment of this two-part series, singers from the Jette Parker Young Artists Programme perform excerpts from three of their favourite pieces. Then it’s up to the audience – both live and online – to vote on which arias or songs they want to hear in full on Friday 8 October.
Join us for an entertaining, interactive adventure through the world of opera, featuring showstoppers such as Rossini’s La calunnia from The Barber of Seville alongside lesser-known gems by Handel and show tunes by Rodgers & Hammerstein.
Friday 8 October: Jukebox 2
The programme for this event will be confirmed by midday on Friday 8th October, once the votes from Monday’s concert - Jukebox 1 – have been tallied.
Please note that these events are going to be filmed and broadcast live on Youtube, and available to watch publicly afterwards. Audience members may feature in some footage.
There is lift access from the main foyer to the Linbury Theatre Foyer. The entrances to the Linbury Theatre are from the Upper Circle level, and customers must descend to their seating area via stairs or a lift. Lift access to seating in the Linbury Theatre is from auditorium right only (right-hand entrance and on your right-hand side as you face the stage). We recommend seating on the right-hand side of the auditorium for those who require level access or minimal stairs. The left-hand side of the auditorium can involve many stairs. There are six wheelchair spaces in the Linbury Theatre. Find out more about accessing the Linbury Theatre.
If you have concerns about how our Covid-19 safety measures may affect your access requirements, please contact BoxOffice.Access@roh.org.uk.
