During this tour, we’ll tell you about the stories, the people and the performances that have taken place in and around Covent Garden and you can follow in the footsteps of your favourite opera singer or ballet dancer from past to present as you enter the building via our world famous stage door. From famous faces to hidden worlds, stunning architecture to society scandals, you’ll learn about the history of the theatres that have stood on this spot, and the other theatres nearby.

Please note this tour does not enter the auditorium or backstage areas of the Royal Opera House. The tour takes place both inside and outside in all weathers, we suggest you wear appropriate clothing. Your tour ticket entitles you to 10% off at ROH Shop and café on the day of your tour. Simply present your ticket at the checkout.

The tour route is fully accessible to wheelchair users. Please advise the Box Office at the time of booking if you have any access requirements. There is no possibility of seating during a tour
