What did you think of Quartett?

The Royal Opera's new production of Quartett runs until 28 June 2014. Tickets are still available.
The production is given with generous philanthropic support from Mr Stefan Sten Olsson, and is a co-production between The Royal Opera, Opéra de Rouen and London Sinfonietta.

    Sex/humanity stripped bare, incredible paring of music/soundscapes and imagery - the acting was exquisite too. I'm going back as is my friend who had never seen any opera before and loved it. The lighting too, integral in a way I have never seen before - the entire production is faultless, thank you so much for an amazing experience.

    Amazing production if a little confusing and thought provoking at times. Reading the background story details beforehand was definitely an advantage! All praise to everyone concerned especially of course the singers. A true mixture of human skills and technology. The interweaving of live and recorded music and song was mind blowing. Such a shame it isn't being better attended.

    Tiresomely hackneyed and banal repetition of the old story . Wonderful performance by the LS and bravely by the singers
