The news of Liam's death has been a devastating blow for the Company and our close dance community. It has been a profound shock to us all. Our deepest sympathy is with Liam's family, friends and loved ones at what is a hugely difficult and traumatic time.

Liam was extremely talented, with a rare artistic and musical sensibility. He created many celebrated works for The Royal Ballet and other companies around the world that marked him out as a unique voice in the dance world. Liam achieved so much from an early age and enjoyed prolific success. He had a true passion for classical ballet and a long history with the Company, firstly as a dancer then as a choreographer where his talent, creativity and skill shone brightly.

The artistic community has lost a true talent and as we mourn this incredibly tragic loss, our thoughts remain with all those closest to him.
