2021/22 Cultural Catalogue and Schools Application process

Schools Applications are now open for the 2021/22 academic year.

Eligibility for the Trailblazer programme

To take part in the Trailblazer programme and join our community, your primary or secondary school (or college) must reside within the borough of Thurrock or be part of a Multi Academy Trust with schools located here.

Application form

We would like to receive notice of interest and ideally a completed application form by Wednesday 30 June 2021 – with all final details to be signed off before the end of this summer term.

Thurrock Trailblazer Cultural Catalogue

The Thurrock Trailblazer Cultural Catalogue for 2021/22 includes:

  • 30 local, regional and national Cultural Partners, including 11 new partnerships
  • Over 120 high-quality educational offers from EYFS-KS5+ and SEND students, including 15 new offers for 2021/22
  • 37 training and CPD opportunities in and around Thurrock
  • 8 projects on offer from ROH National Programmes
  • 11 live performances
  • 12 key art forms with cross-curricular links
  • Key themes as requested including: careers, climate change, collaboration, parental and community engagement, targeted intervention, school strategy, STEAM, student Voice, wellbeing and resilience, world culture

Virtual drop-ins

Virtual drop-in sessions are scheduled for 21, 22 and 23 June between 4.00pm-5.00pm.
