Here you will find a list of the most frequently asked questions for our digital programmes. How do I access my digital programme? After your order has been processed successfully, you will receive an order confirmation email that will provide you a link to "Your Library".
Any digital programme that you have purchased will also appear in the "Your Library" section of the website. To locate the "Your Library" section, sign in to the website, navigate to the "Account" section (https://www.roh.org.uk/account) and then click on "Your Library" in the list of links on the right.
For easy access, especially to access the content offline, you can pin the link to your library on the home screen of your mobile device.
How do I access my digital programme offline on my mobile device? In order to view the digital programme offline, you must first ensure you have accessed the digital programme on your mobile device whilst online. When online, the application will detect whether or not the programme and/or updates to the programme have been automatically downloaded and saved in your mobile device’s local cache.
Once the programme has been downloaded, you will be able to view the programme whether you are online or offline.
How do I pin the Your Library link to my mobile devices home screen? This process will depend on the type of mobile device you are using. To initiate the process, navigate to the "Your Library" page and click on the "Pin to my home screen" link, and then follow the instructions supported by your specific device and browser.
Why can't I see photos, view videos or listen to audio files when offline? In order to be considerate of the amount of data that is stored locally on your mobile device, the offline version of the digital programme will only include the feature photo and the content’s text. In order to view other photos and videos or listen to audio files, you will need to wait until you are online again. Once online, simply refresh the page and the various media assets will be accessible.
What does it mean that content is "coming soon"? Due to the digital nature of the programme, articles and content can be updated over time up until and even after the production. Due to the exclusivity and timing of content, some features will not be available immediately upon release of the digital programme, but will be added automatically over time without any additional cost.
Once the "coming-soon" article is released, your programme will be automatically updated the next time you access your programme online. For 7 days after release of the article, the digital programme will indicate new articles via an "Updated" indicator.
