As The Nutcracker returns to the Royal Opera House this Christmas, we transform our beautiful building into the Sugar Plum Fairy's magical kingdom. Join in with a programme packed with fun activities inspired by the adventures of Clara and Hans Peter. Meet the characters and become part of Clara’s magical journey during a family dance class, or have a go at conducting Tchaikovsky's sumptuous score. Glimpse behind the scenes with our creative teams through talks devised for all ages and join a bespoke tour of the Royal Opera House led by one our friendly guides.
After watching a demonstration with our craft teams, try your hand at making a prop or craft something inspired by the ballet. Join us for music, dance and excitement and be transported into the magical world of The Nutcracker.
