ROH Late: Sunday 16 June 2019, 6pm at Royal Opera House

ROH Late

Live music, dancers and actors lead you deep into the dark and delightful world of opera and ballet, where nothing is quite as it seems.

Venue

Royal Opera House

Bow Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2E 9DD

Season

This event is part of the Winter 2018/19 season.

Background

We invite you to join us for ROH Late. We’re opening our doors for a night of all things music, dance, and craft, with live music and performance, and dancers and actors leading you deep into the delightful world of opera and ballet, where nothing is quite as it seems. We're filling the Royal Opera House with flowers in celebration of British Flower Week, and this will be a perfect opportunity for the curious to explore what’s on offer here.

There's something for everyone to watch, make or do:

–Hear the premiere of Stretched – Puccini’s masterpiece Tosca, stretched into an immersive experience of time and sound.
–Craft your own animation or make upcycled flowers from materials we’d otherwise throw away.
–Watch extraordinary dance and a re-imagining of Britten's opera Billy Budd, all with a cocktail in your hand.
–New to the Royal Opera House? A seasoned Friend? Come along, whoever you are. You don't need to sing or dance – unless you want to – but you will be surprised, entranced and entertained with the Royal Opera House appearing as never before…

Please note

Strictly for ages 18+
