Young Creatives is an annual programme led by One Dance UK which gives 15-19 year olds from across the country the opportunity to develop their choreographic work with highly experienced, professional choreographers. Today's performance features Kitty Pilgrim-Morris who is currently creating work on the Young Creatives programme.

The piece is inspired by Where Do I End and You Begin? by Shilpa Gupta, a contemporary Indian artist living in Mumbai. Much of her work challenges ideas of identity, borders and one’s sense of self. Kitty came across this particular piece while at the Louisiana Gallery in Denmark and found herself transfixed, itching to turn the feelings it stirred into movement. The choreography is an exploration of the grand concepts Gupta examines: what it is to be human, the responsibility of owning a body and the often counter-productive need to define yourself and others.
