Background

Join author and chief music critic of The Observer, Fiona Maddocks, as she meets some of the women making new opera in Britain today, and find out more about why and how they do it. A panel made up of composers Bushra El-Turk, Hannah Kendall and Tansy Davies, and conductor and Music Director of SWAP’ra Jessica Cottis will share their experiences of the industry and provide insight into their artistic processes.
