Background

Join us for this celebratory Family Sundays event inspired by the parties, feasts and festivities that light up operas and ballets. Raise a glass with Violetta and Alfredo in a reimagined La traviata; follow the White Rabbit down a rabbit hole to arrive at the Mad Hatter's tea party from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland; and share in the Stahlbaum's household Christmas festivities before The Nutcracker comes to life. Meet our creative teams and make a masquerade mask with professional prop-makers or write an aria in under an hour and perform it with a professional opera singer. Glimpse life behind the scenes on a bespoke tour of the Royal Opera House led by one our friendly guides.
