Princesses should marry handsome princes. So what do you do if you find you are fated to marry a hairy, smelly, muddy pig? This magical family show by Jonathan Dove and writer Alasdair Middleton is heartwarming and original, mixing up elements of a whole mass of fairytales for a witty and gritty modern version that is sure to appeal to the whole family. The Enchanted Pig was originally presented at the Young Vic in partnership with The Opera Group, and has proved to be a sure-fire audience hit. In this re-staging for the Linbury Studio Theatre we will once again find out how princesses can surprise us and how love really can conquer all. Suitable for childen aged six and upwards.
