What I need to know before I attend:

Please feel free to bring portable furniture and picnics to make the most of this enjoyable event. Access is via Westerfield Road but no on-site parking is available.
For convenience, bins will be provided for any rubbish generated. Those attending the event are asked to dress appropriately for the anticipated weather conditions. Children must be accompanied by adults.

How do I get there?

Car - Major trunk roads to Ipswich are the A12 from London and the South, and the A14 from the Midlands and the North. Three Park and Ride services operate – from the west of the town (A14), the south-west (A12/A14) junction and the east (A12/A1214) junction. For further information http://www.suffolk.gov.uk/TransportAndStreets

Train - Trains from Liverpool Street reach Ipswich in just over an hour. The main East Coast Line (serving the North of England and Scotland) connect with an Ipswich service at Peterborough.

Bus - Ipswich Railway Station is a few minutes walk from the town centre and just two minutes by bus. Ipswich Buses’ terminus(Tower Ramparts) and First Eastern Counties Bus and Coach Station (Cattle Market) are both conveniently situated in the town centre, next to the main pedestrianised area.
