Each year the Royal Opera House welcomes hundreds of thousands of individuals to a wide variety of activities within the building, ranging from world class performances by The Royal Ballet and The Royal Opera to free lunchtime recitals, jazz concerts and Tea Dances in the Paul Hamlyn Hall.
To ensure that the Royal Opera House is able to continue to present and create opera and ballet of the highest standards into the future, many people have chosen to remember us in their will. The Baton Associates is an initiative set up to recognise and thank those individuals who make the generous and very thoughtful commitment of leaving a legacy. Some people prefer to keep their decision private, but we hope that many people will let us know in advance of their plans, so that we are able to thank them during their lifetimes.
As a member of the Baton Associates you will have the opportunity to become more involved with the Royal Opera House during your lifetime. In appreciation of your gift to safeguard the Royal Opera House’s future, we will invite you to attend a dedicated event for the Baton Associates each year. We are also always happy to discuss other ways in which your pledge can be recognised, for example the naming of a seat in the main auditorium, or ways in which your wider family and friends might become involved. If you decide to include the Royal Opera House in your will and would like to let us know, you can do so by contacting the Development Office on +44 (0)20 7212 9462.
