Rudolf Nureyev (1939-1993) This 3-disc set of three ballets is released in celebration of the life and career of Russian dancer, Rudolf Nureyev. He achieved rock star status in the West, during which time he danced in his own extraordinary version of Don Quixote. As a choreographer, principally for the Paris Opera Ballet, he produced many stunning ballets, including the exotic ballet La Bayadère and this passionate Romeo & Juliet.
