London International Mime Festival

The acclaimed annual festival returns to the Linbury Studio Theatre.

Most recent performance

There are currently no scheduled performances of London International Mime Festival. It was last on stage 13–20 January 2015 as part of the Winter 2014/15 season.

The annual London International Mime Festival has become one of the highlights of the year in theatre. The language of mime has expanded into circus, dance, performance art and beyond, and the LIMF has kept pace absolutely, becoming one of the most eclectic and inventive festivals in London. Expect innovative, spectacular, intense and unusual performance – all cutting-edge and essentially wordless.

This year the LIMF presents two programmes in the Linbury Studio Theatre. In Gandini Juggling's 4 x 4 four jugglers and four ballet dancers come together in a unique dialogue, sharing the stage for the first time. World renowned juggler Sean Gandini directs, while choreographic rising star and former Royal Ballet dancer Ludovic Ondiviela provides the choreography. Institute is an intimate and shockingly funny new show from the critically acclaimed dance company Gecko. Created by Amit Lahav, it explores the growing sense of disconnect in modern society, with Gecko's customary intensity, dark humour and sheer physicality.
