Verdi’s Messa da Requiem is a lavish, dramatic and emotionally powerful piece that is guaranteed to move you from its haunting opening to its impassioned final bars. The Royal Opera House Thurrock Community Chorus joins forces with the Brighton Festival Chorus and soloists from the Jette Parker Young Artists Programme. The soloists, mass chorus, the Orchestre de Picardie and Orchestre Symphonique de Bretagne, under the direction of leading Dutch conductor Arie van Beek, will make this a performance not to be missed.
