Introduction

Set during World War II, Casablanca centres on an American expatriate who is forced to choose between his love for a woman, and helping her Resistance leader husband escape the city to fight against the Nazis.

Enjoy the classic 1942 romantic drama, starring Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman, and Paul Henreid, like never before. The remastered film will be accompanied by a live performance of Max Steiner's Academy Award-nominated score, performed by Cinematic Sinfonia and conducted by Dirk Brossé, in the iconic Royal Opera House auditorium.

Casablanca was nominated for eight and won three Academy Awards at the 16th Academy Awards in 1944, winning Outstanding Motion Picture, Best Director, and Best Adapted Screenplay.
