Lighting designer Warren Letton has lit numerous productions in the Linbury Studio Theatre, including Exposure Opera, Exposure Dance, Summer Collections, The Gentle Giant, Heart of Darkness and The Wind in the Willows (Linbury and West End) for the Royal Opera House and In Good Company for Birmingham Royal Ballet. He has worked regularly with the Jette Parker Young Artists Programme on their Performance in Meet the Young Artists Week, including for La Scala di seta, El gato con botas, Les Nuits d’été, Le Portrait de Manon, Bastien und Bastienne, Mozart and Salieri and The Lighthouse.
Letton trained at Rose Bruford College and has worked as a freelance lighting designer and programmer in opera, dance and theatre and for concerts and corporate events. Opera and musical theatre credits include Crazy for You (Gothenburg Opera), Our House (Pimlico Opera), Rigoletto (Bucharest National Opera), Macbeth and The Lady from the Sea (Scottish Opera), Sister Act (Pimlico Opera), Fortunio (Grange Park Opera, Buxton Festival), The Magic Flute (Longborough Festival Opera), Tosca (Grange Park Opera at Nevill Holt), Les Misérables and West Side Story (Pimlico Opera), Carousel (Opera North, as Associate Lighting Designer), Studio Nights (English National Opera) and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Royal Scottish Conservatoire).
Theatre credits include Noughts and Crosses (Royal Shakespeare Company), The Revenger’s Tragedy (Webber Douglas Studio), Wonderlands, Joie de Vivre, Hooray for Hollywood, Broadway, Noitamina and Legends (Orchard Theatre) and Antigone (RBC Studio). Dance credits include Orpheus for Ballet Black and Phantasy for Rambert.
