English actor, dancer and musician Sonya Cullingford made her Royal Opera House debut in 2011 in ROH2’s DanceLines. She has since returned as Mole (Will Tuckett’s The Wind in the Willows) and in Tuckett’s Elizabeth.
Cullingford trained at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts and with Transitions Dance Company. Theatre credits include Drugstore Girl/Faye/Romola/Pinkie Fortune (The Drowned Man) for Punchdrunk, Lavinia (Titus Andronicus) for Theory of Everything, The Red Shoes for Secret Cinema and Cart Macabre in the Old Vic Tunnels. Opera and dance credits include The Indian Queen for English National Opera, The Marriage of Figaro for Opera Holland Park, Flow and Jealousy at The Print Room, Tuckett’s West Side Story at the Sage Gateshead and May Contain Food with Protein Dance.
Cullingford’s film work includes Les Misérables and The Danish Girl.
