Shirin Guild

Shirin Guild grew up in Iran, which provides the inspiration for much of her work. She studied under a tutor from Saint Martin’s School of Art and launched her own label in 1991. Elements from world clothing traditions are reimagined with a modern, reductivist aesthetic. Her work is part of the permanent collection at the Victoria and Albert Museum, Brighton Museum and Art Gallery and the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.
