Fashion designer Robert Wun made his Royal Ballet debut in the 2016/17 Season on Charlotte Edmonds’s Meta.
Wun studied at the London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London. His 2012 graduation collection was discovered by JOYCE and the following year he went on to found his own label Robert Wun. ‘Through the interplay between sculpturing silhouettes and a graphical approach in details, Robert Wun aims to empower feminine fashions by contrasting the essence of fragility with bold cuts and strong shapes.’ The label also gives a fresh take on shoes and accessories, interpreted through Wun’s tailoring and experimentation with forms and materials, ‘to champion an ultramodern, clean, bold aesthetic’.
The Robert Wun label was supported by On|Off for the autumn/winter 2016 and spring/summer 2016 collections and was included in its showcase for London Fashion Week. The label was also nominated for the 2016 International Woolmark Prize.
