Masaya Yamamoto

Prix de Lausanne dancer


Japanese dancer Masaya Yamamoto is a Prix de Lausanne apprentice with The Royal Ballet.

Yamamoto trained at the Akiko Yokokura Ballet School and the Australian Ballet School. He was a finalist in the 2013 Prix de Lausanne, where he won his apprenticeship to The Royal Ballet.

While with the Company Yamamoto has danced with the corps de ballet in ballets including Don Quixote, The Rite of Spring and The Nutcracker.
