English dancer Grace Blundell is an Artist of The Royal Ballet. She trained at The Royal Ballet School and graduated into The Royal Ballet’s Aud Jebsen Young Dancers Programme in 2014. She joined the Company as an Artist in 2015.
Blundell was born in Tamworth and started dancing at the age of four. She studied locally at the Exley School of Dance before joining The Royal Ballet School as a Junior Associate, going on to train at Elmhurst School for Dance and The Royal Ballet Upper School. Her awards include third prize at the 2004 All England Dance Championship and appearing as a finalist at the 2012 Young British Dancer of the Year Competition. Performances with The Royal Ballet while at the School include in The Nutcracker, The Rite of Spring, Romeo and Juliet, Don Quixote, La Bayadère and Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. In her final year she toured with Birmingham Royal Ballet in David Bintley’s The Prince of the Pagodas and danced with The Royal Ballet on tour in Moscow, Taipei and Shanghai.
Roles with the Company have included in Carbon Life and Flight Pattern.
