American soprano Georgia Jarman made her Royal Opera debut in 2015 as Roxana (Król Roger) and has since returned to sing Agnès (Written on Skin).

Jarman grew up in New York and studied at Boston University and the Manhattan School of Music. She sings regularly for leading opera companies and festivals in the USA, engagements including Rosina (Il barbiere di Siviglia) for the Metropolitan Opera, New York, Adina (L’elisir d’amore) and Rosina for New York City Opera, Elisetta (Il matrimonio segreto) for Brooklyn Academy of Music, the four heroines (Les Contes d’Hoffmann) for Boston Lyric Opera, Lucia di Lammermoor for Atlanta Opera, Mimì (La bohème) for New Orleans Opera, Musetta (La bohème) in Cincinnati, Gilda (Rigoletto), Elettra (Idomeneo), Marie (La Fille du régiment) and Giulietta (I Capuleti e i Montecchi) for Florentine Opera, Maria Stuarda for Washington Concert Opera and Amenaide (Tancredi), Norina (Don Pasquale) and Amina (La sonnambula) for Caramoor Music Festival. Her contemporary roles include Madame Mao (Nixon in China) for Cincinnati Opera and Eurydice (Glass’s Orphée) for Portland Opera, also recorded.

Jarman made her British debut in the 2011/12 Season singing the four heroines for English National Opera. Other European engagements include Mathilde (Guillaume Tell) and the four heroines for Teatr Wielki, Warsaw, Massenet’s Manon for Malmö Opera, Violetta (La traviata) in Bergen and Ellen Orford (Peter Grimes) for Grange Park Opera.
