Biography

Emma won the Falstaff Award for Best Sound Design/Original Score for her work on Coriolanus at the Donmar Warehouse in 2014, and other productions for the Donmar include The York Realist, The Lady From The Sea, Limehouse, Berenice, The Physicists, Making Noise Quietly and The Recruiting Officer.

Other recent theatre credits include: The Writer (Almeida Theatre); random/generations; The House They Grew Up In; Forty Years On (Chichester Festival Theatre); Titus Andronicus (RSC & Barbican); Julius Caesar; The Effect (Sheffield Theatres); Rita, Sue and Bob Too (Out of Joint, Royal Court); See Me Now (Young Vic); Breaking The Code; All My Sons; A Doll’s House (Royal Exchange, Manchester); nut; Men Should Weep (National Theatre); Ghosts; The Oresteia (HOME Theatre, Manchester).

Emma was previously an Associate Artist at the Bush Theatre, and Deputy Head of Sound for the Royal Court where she designed over 20 productions.
