English tenor Andrew Friedhoff sings regularly with the Royal Opera Extra Chorus. Solo performances at the Royal Opera House include Apprentice (Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg) for The Royal Opera on the main stage and in Jean-Philippe Calvin’s La Cantatrice chauve for ROH2 in the Linbury Studio Theatre, as well as performances in the Crush Room recital series.
Friedhoff was born in London and currently studies with Jeffrey Talbot. Opera engagements include Nemorino (L’elisir d’amore), Alfredo Germont (La traviata), Nadir (Les Pêcheurs de perles), Gounod’s Faust and Tom Rakewell (The Rake’s Progress) for Theater Lübeck and Siegmund (Die Walküre) for Fulham Opera.
Friedhoff has performed in recital with pianists including Roger Vignoles and Mark Packwood.
