Anna Patalong

Soprano

Biography

British soprano Anna Patalong made her Royal Opera debut in 2013 as Third Flowermaiden (Parsifal). She has previously appeared in concert in the Royal Opera House's Crush Room.

Patalong trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where her many awards included the Maggie Teyte and Miriam Licette prizes. She was a finalist at the Kathleen Ferrier Awards and was the recipient of a Samling scholarship. Engagements include Anne Trulove (The Rake's Progress) for the St Endellion Festival, Adina (L’elisir d’amore) for Northern Ireland Opera, Cendrillon for Blackheath Halls Opera, Zerlina (Don Giovanni) for Mid Wales Opera and Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi) for Opera Holland Park.

Patalong is a prolific recitalist, performing in venues including the Wigmore Hall, the Royal Albert Hall and the Barbican, and has appeared on BBC Radio 3's live show 'In Tune'.
