Laughter and tears, a wonderful production with superb performers. Best Bohem I've seen. Really enjoyed the outdoorsetting at the London Bridge arena. So much fun to enjoy a fine performance with a random crowd.

Brilliant performance with outstanding principals. Real chemistry between Rodolfo and Mimi. Only minor criticism is that second act felt rather cluttered...too many people on stage. Watched on Big Screen in the Piazza at University of Warwick. Occasional cheers for World Cup goals from the bar overlooking the Piazza didn't put us off. As for the music...thrilling...made me shiver.

Wonderful opportunity to experience an opera live from my own home, living in a location where live opera is not readily available. Beautiful production, conducting, voices, staging. Thank you, ROH, for this.

  5. Wonderful performance last night, and so incredibly moving. The music was superb and the direction/ timing excellent too. The singers could act as well as sing, and there was a lot of humour (we loved the naughty bits - Musetta's knickers coming off and the "boys'" graffiti! The choreography and stage sets should be commended. The shopping arcade and the cafe scenes were especially remarkable but to be honest there was a gasp in the audience of "wow" every time a new incredible set was revealed. It felt like a real treat and was worth every penny of the expensive seats we had!

Must have watched something completely different to the rest of you up north here at Castle Howard in Yorkshire- shattering volume - total destruction of any actual melody - weirdo minimalist sets & just so,so glad when she finally snuffed it & we could all go home - & as for that pomegranate MC!!

Great performance. I really enjoined every single scene. The costumes, makeups, atrezzo, everything helped to feel like you were there. And the actors trapped me inside the story since the very first moment.
I saw it in Bristol and the weather was so nice that I cannot thing a better way to spend an evening.
Thank you Royal Opera House for sharing such a beautiful show with us.
Looking forward to see Don Giovanni.

My 1st Bohem, was 70yrs. ago, which used the sets from the MELBA production !

The very best was the former production, which we cherished and adored for 42 YEARS!

    The “new 1” !
Ist act last act utterly destroyed the magic of the whole eve. Cafe Momus adorable. NO relationship to the STUPID idea of POVERTY ! As one of your leading critics wrote re. Meistersinger, he would have liked his
    Seat REVERSED !
    LDL !
    “Listen DON’T look” ! ! !

I will willingly pay 4 my seat REVERSAL 4 MANY of your “New Look New PRODUCTIONS” !
