Sensational #ROHcavpag tonight. Such a wonderful show. A highlight of my year. Among many moments, Hymel's "Vesta la giubba" was very fine.

I love this staging for its skill, style, detail and ability to link the two pieces without it feeling contrived. Chorus excellent. Sadly Oren was choppy (made Cav sound like a series of excerpts)... #ROHcavpag

The enhanced @ROHchorus made a mighty sound in Pagliacci, and there was some sumptuous playing by the ROH Orchestra under Oren (who is having a good year in the house, what with this and Adriana Lecouvreur) #rohCavPag pic.twitter.com/Yp5jATD3Ro

Superb singing in an inspired production: #ROHcavpag Highlights were Hymel’s anguished, thrilling Turiddu, Garanča’s vocally glamourous Santuzza, Keenlyside’s commanding, insinuating Tonio and the multi-talented @ROHchorus
