I'm so sad I missed this. Will The Bolshoi be back next year? I'd give my right arm to see Osiliev's Flames of Paris PDD.

Last nights' performance of Flames of Paris was absolutely stunning. One question (apart from how can Osipova and Vasiliev jump so high!)... if Ruslan Skvortsov replaced Dmitri Gudanov as the Marquis, who danced Louis XVI? He was just so funny we would all love to know who it was. An amazing evening

Great ending to a phenomenal season. Both Osipova and Krysanova danced superbly well. All six leading dancers on Friday and Saturday evening performances were magnificent. Vasiliev is the real darling of the public - will the Royal Ballet take him as guest too? He said it is his dream to dance Mayerling, but together he and Osipova would be fabulous in Fille mal gardee. They are a partnership which rivals the greats of yesteryear. Stunning stuff!

I couldn't agree more. It was an amazing evening with outstanding performances from Vasiliev, Osipova, Merkuriev and the entire cast. I'm just hoping that we will see more of Ivan Vasiliev in London and that he will be invited to join the Royal Ballet as Natalia Osipova has been.

My only visit to the Bolshoi this summer was rewarded with wonderful performances of this histrionic Company showpiece. Flame of Paris. Vasiliev and Osipova are outstanding as, indeed, is the magnificent Bolshoi orchestra. Perhaps Pharaoh's Daughter would make a welcome inclusion in their next visit - along with some seldom-seen Petit?
