We often hear the phrase "the dream cast ".For this marvellous revival of Laurent Pelly's brilliant production, this is exactly what we had on 12th March. A truly fantastic afternoon at ROH.

    Merci beaucoup !

Kiri Te Kanawa was absolutely fabulous. Her acting was very entertaining and her momentary performance as Fidelia in Puccini's Edgar was beautiful. This was rather unexpected, and it went really well with the rest of the performance. Yves Abel was cool as ever and he really is the conductor of this opera.
