#ROHhansel Impressive Stage Design! Brilliant performances from all involved. A real dark and disturbing Fairytale.... #LiamScarlett #ROHPilar Mauri • Studio
I think the problem with #ROHhansel is the lack of contrast between dark and light, it's just dark. I did enjoy parts of it.Juliet Ashdown
Had a stunningly dark and twisted evening at the ballet watching #ROHhansel - #LiamScarlett is a genius!! LOVE AL
Still, an outstanding role for Steven McRae as the sinister, puppet-like Sandman, and excellent performances from all involved. #ROHhanselLaura Cappelle

@GWDanceWriter Very very very topical indeed, I thought - and all the more chilling for that. #ROHhanselCloud Dance Festival
A tiresome & distasteful eve w cliche, boring choreography and a story line of sexual violence & paedophilia. Badly done Liam. #rohhanselanna merrick
Just how bendy is Steve McRea? His broken-limbed fluid Sandman made lounging on a roof look exciting.Loved the ballet /athmospere #rohhanselsandra heidecker

Stimulating production. Fantastic dancing, imaginative choreography. Too monochromatic in mood though, for which I blame the music and also the unremitting darkness of the narrative.

  2. Cemented my love for Scarlett's style. I was sold by the exaggerated characterisations. However I wasn't convinced by the 'in the round' I did feel like I was sat behind the action at times. But I'll be back next time.
