Watch: Rehearsals for The Dream

Marcelino Sambé and Luca Acri rehearsed the role of Puck earlier this summer with Guest Principal Ballet Master Christopher Carr.

Royal Ballet Soloists Marcelino Sambé and Luca Acri recently rehearsed Frederick Ashton's The Dream with Guest Principal Ballet Master Christopher Carr in preparation for the Company's summer 2015 tour of the USA.

Both dancers were recently promoted for the 2015/16 Season and make their debuts as the title character in The Nutcracker in December 2015.

The Dream / Symphonic Variations / Marguerite and Armand runs from 7–10 June 2017. Tickets are still available.

    A really interesting little clip! It amazes me how those young dancers can remember such intricate choreography! I was delighted to read recently that Luca and Marcelino had been promoted - I have watched their progress over the last few years and they richly deserve that progression in their careers. Both excelled in Carlos Acosta's "Don Quixote" and Luca was amazing in Hofesh Shechter's "Untouchable". Congratulations to you both!!

    Very seductive..to spend all the time for reading,looking, hearing..but really good (making) off? Sorry for my English..)the video with the children: fantastic and also the video with El../Rossini very good idea ..the mix of teaching a.audition avec audiance and full of humor...like it.Than ks for the email/( on my little smartphone ..it's nearly hard work)to write and so...but: thank you..karin
