This Sunday (30 June), the Jette Parker Young Artists will perform in the JPYA Summer Performance From Studio to Stage, accompanied by the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House.

Directed by Young Artist Pedro Ribeiro, the performance features a selection of staged opera scenes from the 2012/13 Season, including extracts from Die Zauberflöte, L'elisir d'amore, Eugene Onegin and La rondine.

‘The purpose of the summer performance is to provide a platform to showcase the Young Artists and what they’ve been doing over the past few years,’ says David Gowland, Artistic Director of the Programme.

‘One extract that I’ve included especially is from Donizetti’s Anna Bolena as it gives Justina Gringyte and Jihoon Kim, who are both finishing their time as Young Artists, a substantial scene.’

All of the current Jette Parker Young Artists will be performing in From Studio to Stage: singers Dušica Bijelić, Susana Gaspar, Justina Gringyte, Hanna Hipp, Pablo Bemsch, David Butt Philip, Michel de Souza, Ashley Riches, Jihoon Kim; conductors Michele Gamba and Paul Wingfield and pianist Helen Nicholas
